His rise to the papacy marks a significant moment in world history, as he becomes the first American-born Pope and a spiritual bridge between the Global North and South—having served for decades as a missionary and bishop in Peru.
We pray that under the leadership of Pope Leo XIV, the Holy See will continue to be a beacon of hope during these troubled times. The world today stands at a critical crossroads, plagued by war, poverty, climate crises, and rising intolerance. Millions yearn for spiritual guidance that transcends boundaries of race, religion, and nationality. We are hopeful that Pope Leo XIV will lead with wisdom and empathy, upholding the core values of Christianity—love, peace, kindness, compassion, justice,* and above all, service to humanity.

Champions Peace Over War: In a world increasingly gripped by geopolitical tensions and armed conflicts, particularly in Ukraine, Gaza, Sudan, and beyond, we hope His Holiness will continue the Church’s legacy of advocating for nonviolence, diplomacy, and reconciliation. His stance must echo the words of Christ: “Blessed are the peacemakers.”
Elevates the Marginalized and Poor:** In the spirit of Pope Leo XIII’s social justice teachings, we urge Pope Leo XIV to advance the Church’s mission in fighting global poverty and inequality. From famine-stricken regions of Africa to impoverished slums in Latin America and South Asia, let the Vatican become a louder voice for economic justice and ethical governance.
Fosters Interfaith Bridges: We pray that the new Pope will champion interreligious dialogue and harmony, recognizing the shared values among Abrahamic faiths and others. At a time when religious intolerance is fueling division and violence, we believe his missionary experience in Peru can serve as a model for outreach, humility, and mutual respect.
Upholds Universal Human Rights: We hope Pope Leo XIV will raise his voice for the oppressed—refugees, minorities, women, and the marginalized. The Church’s moral authority must remain a guardian of dignity and freedom for all, irrespective of faith, race, gender, or orientation.
